Lackluster D20 Index Takes the Week Off
Balancing 11 gainers and nine losers, the Driverless Transportation (D20) Stock Index dropped ever so slightly, giving up 0.03 points, or 0.02 percent, to end last week at 144.89. Both the Dow and S&P 500 gained ground on the D20. The Dow moved up 1.2 percent to close at 17213.31 while the S&P 500 crept up 1.1 percent to end the week at 2022.19.
On the news that several large private investment firms continue to add to their investment in Visteon Company (VC), its stock price jumped a D20 weekly high of 5.1 percent to close at $76.64. In contrast, TomTom (TOM2) was the D20’s largest loser dropping €0.37, or 4.4 percent, to finish at €7.99.
