This year’s installment of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) promises to be a hot ticket for Driverless Transportation enthusiasts and future users alike. Held annually on Detroit’s waterfront, the early-January event attracts everyone from auto industry executives to novice car collectors and more.
In the past, the NAIAS, or “Detroit Auto Show,” as it is known to locals, has been the center of new vehicle and technology introductions to North America and the world. Vehicles such as the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, and Cadillac ATS coup have stolen the show in previous years. This year the attention will shift as the NAIAS will feature a host of driverless technology debuts in addition to its usual production car introductions for 2016.
The 2015 NAIAS will open its doors to the public on January 17 and close on January 25. Driverless Transportation will be covering the event starting on January 12 via an exclusive press preview.
